When we reached the bottom of the canyon after our hike to the Emerald Pools, we were pretty bushed and hot. Luckily, the Virgin River is a quiet, shallow stream this time of year, and there’s a perfect swimming hole at the Grotto’s trail head. The boys jumped in and splashed around for an hour or so. I had to clone six people out of existence in the main photo, but I’m sure the gentleman with the beer belly hanging out of his tank top won’t mind.
